There are some big changes coming to the Z107.7 Morning Show. Managing editor Tami Roleff spills the beans…
Morning Show co-host Jessica Jean, who rejoined Z107.7 in March, is leaving at the end of December. She said being a mom to a toddler and working outside the home was more difficult than she anticipated, especially during a pandemic.
“The decision to leave was not much a decision as it was a necessity.”
But she’s loved being a co-host with Gary Daigneault.
“My time on the show has been more than I could’ve ever hoped for…. I keep saying I feel honored, but that’s truly how I’ve felt this entire time. Honored.”
A familiar voice is returning to take over as co-host of the Z107.7 Morning Show—Cassidy Taylor, who worked here previously as a DJ and news reporter.
“Gary is a very persuasive person (laughs). I started here, it makes sense that get to come back and enjoy my new career here.”
Although Taylor went to college in Arizona, the Morongo Basin is her home.
“As much as I loved Arizona—it’s where I went to college for five years—I can’t beat my home town. My family is here, my friends are here… I had to come back.”
Taylor will be more than the Morning Show’s co-host.
“I’m a reporter too—I wear two hats.”
Good-bye to Jessica Jean and welcome back to Cassidy Taylor.
