The October artist of the month at Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in Yucca Valley is award-winning painter, Beverly Schmuckle. Her show, featuring beautiful oil paintings and acrylic pour creations, is now on display in the Art Room and at the back of the church’s sanctuary. The show may be viewed Sundays following the church service from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The church is open Monday through Wednesday mornings and by appointment by calling the church office (760-365-6331). Art may be purchased directly from the artist. Desert Hills Presbyterian Church is located at 56760 Mountain View Trail in Yucca Valley, a few blocks southwest of the Yucca Valley High School.
