This Saturday night in Landers promises to be one not soon forgotten. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with all you need to know to get in on the fun …
Homestead Valley Park in Landers is the place to be this Saturday night. Everyone is invited to the outdoor benefit concert/tailgate party and flea-by- night market to raise money for the fireworks spectacular and family fair on Labor Day weekend. Gates open at 5 p.m. for Saturday night’s line up with music from Prayz, Ninetail Wolf, Chad ‘Tug’ Williams, Aaron ‘Brother Bear’ Bender, and others. The concert is free, but organizers need you to dig deep when you see the donation buckets. All vendor fees at Saturday’s Flea by Night Market will go toward the fireworks fundraiser as well. The “Flea by Night” Market will be open for business during the concert; so enjoy the music and shop for bargains, treasures, school supplies, and art. Homestead Valley Park is on Belfield Boulevard with access from Reche or Linn roads in Landers. Parking is free; all events end at 10 p.m. Contributions to the Fireworks Spectacular may also be made via PayPal to: [email protected].
