BECOME A REFEREE FOR THE TOWN OF YUCCA VALLEY YOUTH BASKETBALL

Successful applicants must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and players, skill in making prompt and equitable decisions in umpiring assigned games, and capability of performing regulatory and rule enforcement in officiating youth basketball games. Additional duties include monitoring proper conduct among players, coaches and fans, inspect the courts and impose penalties for rule infractions, and coordinate with scorekeepers.

Applicants must be at least age 16 (with guardian permission) and have the ability to work evenings and weekends on an “as scheduled” basis beginning January 8th through March 5th, 2022. Referees are paid per game according to grade division.

Applications are available online at quickscores.com/yuccavalley or in person at the Yucca Valley Community Center, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
