The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case of a stolen windmill. According to a Sheriff’s report, the homeowner in the 75200 block of Baseline Road in Twentynine Palms called about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning to report that a 30-foot tall windmill had been stolen from the property sometime since last Friday. The homeowner valued the windmill at about $5,000. A black F150 Ford pick-up truck had been spotted in front of the home Sunday.
