If you know of a special person or organization who has done outstanding service to the community, the Basin Wide Foundation wants to hear about them. The organization is soliciting nominations for its annual awards ceremony. The categories are Together We Can; Lifetime Achievement; Above and Beyond; Cultural Contributor; Non-Profit of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; Youth Volunteer of the Year; and Business of the Year. The deadline to submit your nomination is July 1, and the awards dinner is set for August 22. Email your nomination to [email protected]

Awards Categories:
Together We Can – Multiple individuals or organizations that exemplify the “Together We Can” motto in community service in the Morongo Basin.
Lifetime Achievement – An individual who has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to community service in the Morongo Basin.
Above & Beyond – A paid employee of an organization who has given above their paid role in service to the Morongo Basin.
Cultural Contributor –An individual or organization that has made significant contributions to Cultural Enrichment (art, music, theatre, film, etc.) in the Morongo Basin.
Non-Profit of the Year – A non-profit deserving of special recognition for contributions to the Morongo Basin.
Volunteer of the Year – An individual who is deserving of special recognition for volunteer work in the last year.
Youth Volunteer of the Year – An individual (younger than 18 years old) who has shined as a volunteer in the last year.
Business of the Year – A business who has committed their services and support to the people of Morongo Basin.
