Heat illness prevention plans are on the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting of the Basin Transit Board of Directors. At the public meeting, the Board will consider adopting safety plans to prevent heat illness and safety procedures regarding sharp objects. They will also discuss a short range transit plan and approve Transportation Assistance Grants.
The board meets tomorrow afternoon at 5 p.m. 62405 Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
