Basin Democrats meet this Sunday in Yucca Valley when the Morongo Basin Democratic Club convenes from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Aztec Mobile Home Park Club House off Church Street in Yucca Valley. On the agenda is appointment of a Senior’s Advocate who will spearhead Club efforts to address issues important to Morongo Basin’s seniors. Sunday’s meeting will open with a postcard writing effort, and attendees will hear about local volunteer opportunities for the President’s re-election campaign, and plans for Pioneer Days.
