A bake sale auction and lecture will benefit the Johnson Valley Community Center Saturday. The doors to the community center open at 11:30 to set up for the auction, which starts at noon. Then following the auction, Barbara Harris will discuss her research into local area attractions, including Giant Rock and Integratron. Admission is $5 and proceeds benefit the community center. The community center is located 50567 Quailbush Road, 1 ¾ miles up Larrea Road from the red sign on Old Woman Springs Road. The public is welcome.
