The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of a baby that was found in a shopping cart in a Walmart parking lot. Sheriff’s Sergeant Jim Thornburg said deputies were called to Walmart about 3:05 Wednesday afternoon about the baby. Thornburg said deputies have contacted the people who claim to be the baby’s parents, and the investigation is ongoing. Z107.7 News will have more information as it becomes available.
