Arthur Davies has been found guilty on both counts brought against him in the death of one year-old Parker Schumacher. This is the second trial for Davies as last year's trial ended in a not-guilty verdict for the charge of murder, and a mistrial on the felony assault on a child causing death. The Yucca Valley man who was injured during his arrest for allegedly attacking a family with a hammer is facing additional charges of attempted murder and burglary and assault with a deadly weapon. Operation: Consequences serves 2 gang-related warrants in Morongo Basin

Two arrests were made in the Morongo Basin last week by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Gang/Narcotics Division. Between November 9 and November 15 the Sheriff's Department served eight search warrants related to gang members and felons believed to be in possession of weapons or narcotics as part of Operation:Consequences. The Yucca Valley high school wrestling teams faced off Rancho Mirage at Yucca Valley High School on Monday (November 8). For the first time in a long time, Yucca Valley beat both the girls and boys teams. Girls won 48 to 24.
