PLANNED POWER OUTAGE ABOARD THE MARINE BASE MONDAY

The Combat Center will have another power outage Monday. The power outage will begin at 8:30 Monday night and is scheduled to last until 6:30 a.m Tuesday. Sketchy details about a chain-reaction traffic accident that tied up Highway 62 for more than an hour yesterday. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Levi Miller, the CHP believes that a male rider on a Yamaha V-Star motorcycle, traveling westbound on the highway about 3 p.m., either rear-ended a big rig trailer, or somehow got tangled up in the back of the trailer.
