“Wish” playing tonight at 6:30 at Yucca Valley Community Center

The HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours kicks off tomorrow. More than 130 local, hi-desert artists will be opening up their studios to neighbors, tourists, and art appreciators. Victim in Yucca Valley homicide identified as Steven Stoneking, 60

The victim of a homicide in Yucca Valley has been identified as Steven Stoneking, a 60 year-old resident of Yucca Valley. Stoneking was found dead at a house on Redondo St. in Yucca Valley on September 21, after several requests for a welfare check were made by a member of his family. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a veteran's resource group that is hosting their 10th Annual Air Rifle Shooting Competition this weekend, and everyone is invited to this family friendly event. Twentynine Palms Ladycats vs. Yucca Valley Trojans volleyball scores

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball visited Yucca Valley High School to take on the Trojans last night (October 2). The Ladycats came away with the win for both varsity and junior varsity. The Ladcats JV team won in 2 with final scores of 25-18 and 25-19. In Varsity action, the teams played 4 exciting sets. Five hour standoff in Yucca Valley ends with suspected child rapist in custody

The suspect in a sexual assault on a child barricaded himself inside of Yucca Valley house this morning, beginning a five hour standoff that ended with the suspect in custody.
