6-week Dog Obedience classes begin this week in Yucca Valley

For all the bad dogs in town trying to be good, The Town of Yucca Valley is offering a basic dog obedience class starting this week.The 6-week course establishes skills for successful communication between you and your dog and it's taught by Certified Animal Behaviorist Lori Herbel UV-AAB.  Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Felon on active Riverside County warrant arrested in Twentynine Palms with suspected drugs and ammo

On Wednesday (October 9), County Sheriff’s deputies with the Morongo Basin Station conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Twentynine Palms Highway near Clare Ave in Twentynine Palms. Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as Coy Tinker, 29, a felon convicted of robbery and car theft. Deputies say that Tinker was in possession of ammunition and suspected methamphetamine. Man alleged to have stolen mail with 16 year-old charged with child abuse

A man alleged to have stolen mail in Twentynine Palms with a 16 year-old behind the wheel of a a getaway car is facing charges of child abuse. On Monday (October 7) the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Morongo Basin station reports that they received a report from a person who witnessed mail theft, and the report included a description of the vehicle. A solar storm brought the Northern Lights to the Morongo Basin last night, though the indigo waves weren't visible to the naked eye.
