On Wednesday (October 9), County Sheriff’s deputies with the Morongo Basin Station conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Twentynine Palms Highway near Clare Ave in Twentynine Palms. A solar storm brought the Northern Lights to the Morongo Basin last night, though the indigo waves weren't visible to the naked eye.
