Traffic stop on Old Woman Springs Road leads to suspected “ghost gun” arrest

A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a convicted felon alleged to be in possession of a semi-automatic "ghost gun." On Wednesday (October 30) at around 1:30 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling along Old Womans Spring Road near Wilhart Dr. in Yucca Valley. After being caught allegedly shoplifting at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Twentynine Palms, a man was arrested on suspicion of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon. Joshua Tree man allegedly attacks landscaping crew with a sword, arrested for attempted murder

A Joshua Tree man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly slashing a landscaper with a sword. On Friday (October 25) just before midnight, San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a burglary at an apartment complex in the 62200 block of Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
