Yucca Valley High School Boy’s Cross Country has best season finish in last 5 years

The Yucca Valley High School boys cross country team had their best season finish in five years at the Desert Valley Finals run at Xavier Prep high school yesterday (November 6), with two boys just missing getting into CIF. The three boys that ran Tyler Williams, Michael Tennison, and Seth Lower all hitting their best records... Two running around 19 minutes and the 3rd just under 21 minutes.

Yucca Valley man arrested for suspected weapon and drug possession

A traffic stop in Yucca Valley led to the arrest of a man alleged to be in possession of an illegal weapon and drugs. On Halloween just before midnight, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Adobe Rd in Twentynine Palms. The Copper Mountain College (CMC) women's basketball team began their season with a strong win over Southwestern College 63-43. Yucca Valley man arrested on suspicion of DUI and car theft

After allegedly leading a pursuit through the hi-desert, a man with an active warrant for DUI hit and run was arrested in Yucca Valley on suspicion of DUI and car theft. On Wednesday (October 30) at around 8 p.m., an officer with the California Highway Patrol attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Stosh Stephens, 33. Records indicate that Stephens failed to comply with officers, and led a pursuit through the Morongo Basin with disregard for the safety of other drivers.…
