A school program intended to address minor non-criminal offenses is being suspended by the Sheriff’s Department. SB County Sheriff Dicus said “an abundance of caution” is being taken in suspending CleanSWEEP - which is a disciplinary program that is designed to address minor offenses in the school system through non-criminal procedures - with a focus on keeping kids in school and out of suspension and expulsion procedures. Another round of Starlink satellites is set for launch from the Vandenburg Space Force Base tonight at 10:40. The satellite launches will be the fifth this month for a total of 37 SpaceX launches this year - already outpacing their launch schedule last year. Yucca Valley home spared in late night garage fire on Inca Trail

A fire in a garage attached to a single family home in Yucca Valley was quickly put out by the San Bernardino County Fire Department last night (Aug 26) - sparing the attached home. Firefighters quickly responded to reports of an attached garage on fire on the 7500 block on Inca Trail in Yucca Valle. The Yucca Valley Trojans Football team beat Lancaster 35-28. Javin Hudson was the player of the game with three touchdowns and 97 yards receiving.
