Theater 29 director Gary Daigneault and Musical Director Ed Will seek several performers for the cast of “Urinetown the Musical,” including 10 men and six women from ages 20-65, at open auditions on Monday, January 12, at 6 p.m. at Theater 29 at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms.
Male roles include: Bobby Strong, Caldwell B. Caldwell, Mr. McQueen, Dr. Billeaux, Hot Blades Harry, Joseph “Old Man” Strong, Tiny Tom and officer’s Lockstock and Barrell. Female characters include: Hope Cladwell, Josephine “Ma” Strong, Little Becky Two-Shoes, Little Sally, Soupy Sue, and finally, Penelope Pennywise.
“Urinetown the Musical” will run five consecutive weekends from February 27 through March 28. Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays March 8 and March 22, 2015.
