AUDITIONS TONIGHT FOR “MIS-CAST” A MUSICAL PARODY, AT THEATRE 29

Tonight at Theatre 29, come sing your way into the cast of “Mis-Cast: A Musical Parody.” With all the audition details here’s Rebecca Havely…

Director Lisa Goldberg is seeking singers for a one-night-only fundraiser performance. “Mis-Cast: A Musical Parody” gives you the chance to sing a role you may never have the chance to play. Perhaps you’re a woman who wished she could play the Phantom of the Opera or a 50-year-old who regrets never playing Little Orphan Annie. Whatever reason might keep you from being cast in a dream role won’t be an issue; in fact it’s the whole point. Use your imagination and sense of humor to select a song and sing it tonight. Auditions begin at 6 p.m. at Theatre 29. Weeknight rehearsals begin June 12. The one-night-only gala fundraiser performance is set for June 23 and will benefit the Theatre 29 Building Expansion Fund.
Bring a non-vocal accompaniment track on a mobile device of a Broadway show tune, speakers will be provided.
