Theatre 29 is looking for players, helpers, for in the scene and behind the scenes for this year’s Halloween Haunt. Managing Editor Tami Roleff tells you how to get involved in the annual haunted theater event…
We may still be in the heat of summer, but it’s time to start thinking about the ninth annual Halloween Haunt at Theatre 29, produced by Eric Ross, and directed by Frances Wright with assistance from Charles Harvey. Auditions for this year’s haunt, entitled “Asylum,” will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 4 at Theatre 29. At least 20 performers, age 16 and older, will be needed. New for 2012, the adventurous souls to the Asylum will take a self-guided tour of the depths of an abandoned asylum for the criminally insane where the inmates never left. The Asylum Halloween Haunt will run October 19, 20, 26, 27, and 29 through the 31. The haunt runs from 7 to 10 on weekends and Halloween night, and 7 to 9 on weekday nights.
