AUDITIONS FOR THEATRE 29 MUSICAL MOVED TO TONIGHT

Theater 29 auditions for “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” scheduled for last night, were postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Reporter Rebecca Havely has more details…
Theater 29 veteran director Charles Harvey was unable to make it up the Morongo grade last night due to a fire that caused traffic to stop. Auditions had to unfortunately be abruptly canceled, but they have been rescheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m. on the main stage at Theater 29. Scripts will be provided for cold readings; please bring a back-up track of a Broadway show tune and dress prepared to move. Harvey plans to cast several men and woman in the who-done-it musical, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.” He also seeks backstage assistance as well; if you would like to volunteer in this capacity please come to auditions. Apologies to any who showed up at the Theater unaware of the cancellation. Please make your way back to the theater this evening.
