Open auditions for the musical comedy “Sister Act” are set at Theatre 29 this Monday night. Director Scott Clinkscales is looking to cast 14 women and six to eight men. Based on the 1992 movie of the same name, “Sister Act” is a feel-good smash hit musical. Open auditions will be held at Theatre 29 on Monday, December 16, at 6:30 p.m. A complete breakdown of all the characters can be found on the Theatre 29 website. Come prepared to move and prepare 32 bars of a contemporary or pop/rock musical theatre song, and 16 bars of a Broadway show tune, both to sing acapella. “Sister Act” will run weekends from February 6, through March 1, 2020.
