Auditions for the last production of Theatre 29’s 2014 season, “Shakespeare in Hollywood”, have been scheduled for Monday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. on the Theatre 29 Main Stage at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms. The show will take the stage for five weeks beginning November 21 through December 20. The show, directed by John Wright, tells of when Shakespearian characters appear on a Hollywood set and are consumed by the glitz and glamour. The show is looking for eight male and four female comedic performers, over 17 years old, with various roles playing multiple parts; along with four ensemble performers. The production is also seeking technical assistance as stagehands, set builders and costume construction. Anyone 16 years or older wishing to participate backstage please also attend auditions. Auditions are Monday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. on the Theatre 29 Main Stage at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms.
