With a Broadway-style score, an eye-popping production concept, and fun for kids, Theatre 29 will be holding open auditions for the Musical “Rapunzel” Sunday, January 16, at 6:00 pm at the Twentynine Palms theater. The story of the girl with really long hair who is locked in a tower by an evil witch and who later meets and falls in love with a handsome prince will delight young Morongo Basin audiences with first-class treatment in production and writing talent.
From the Emmy-winning team behind the mega-hit television series, “Friends,” comes Rapunzel. A familiar tale with a fantastic new spin, it has all of the charms that you’d expect from the minds that have been making the world laugh non-stop for more than two decades.
