Director Cheryl McGuire will cast seven men and four women at Groves Cabin auditions on Saturday and Sunday, August 4 and 5, from 12 to 4 pm. The show is four one-acts by playwright Robert Anderson. First, “The Shock of Recognition” has a cast of three men: a playwright, a producer and an eager actor. Next, “The Footsteps of Doves” is a love triangle with a couple married 25 years and a younger woman. “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” has a family cast: parents and young adult son and daughter. “I’m Herbert” casts an aging couple still in love.
