AUDITIONS FOR “A CHRISTMAS CAROL” AT THEATRE 29

Theatre 29 and Director Rob Wanless will hold open try-outs for “A Christmas Carol”, the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge’s holiday transformation. Auditions will be this Monday, September 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Theatre 29, 73637 Sullivan Road, Twentynine Palms. The classic play is an adaptation of the Charles Dickens story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from an embittered, ungenerous creature into a giving, caring human being at the hands of three spirits, who, one Christmas Eve, show him what life means. Wanless will be seeking a cast of more than 25 actors for this production. Come prepared to perform cold reads, in addition to performing pre-selected sides for your role. The pre-selected sides are available for review at www.theatre29.org, choose the “Auditions” tab and follow the links. Although this is not a musical, some chorus singing may be required. Please be prepared to sing your favorite Christmas Carol. Anyone seeking to assist as technical crew, set builders, or costume construction roles, please also attend auditions. For more information, contact the Director via email at [email protected]. “A Christmas Carol” will run five weekends from November 15 to December 16. For a preview of the script Click here
