ATTEMPTED HOME INVASION BURGLARY IN YUCCA VALLEY

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two men involved in a home invasion burglary in Yucca Valley Thursday. About 11:40 a.m. a woman called 911 to report that came to her front door on the corner of Pinon and Canyon,, and when she didn’t answer, they went around to the back of her house and broke her sliding glass door. The woman, who had a baby at home with her, screamed, and the men fled. The men are described as Hispanic, about 6 feet tall, one was wearing a bandana, and one was wearing a white T-shirt. Deputies called in a helicopter to search for the suspects, but it’s believed they got into a vehicle and left the area. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
