The Sheriff’s Department is investigating an attempted carjacking in the Walmart parking lot in Yucca Valley Thursday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, an unknown man approached the victim about 7:30 Thursday and demanded the keys to the car, and then began to punch and kick the victim. When the car’s driver hit back, the suspected thief ran off. The carjacker is described as a white male, about 6 feet two inches tall, 210 pounds, wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, buzz cut hair, and a light beard.
