AT LEAST SEVEN BURGLARIES REPORTED IN TWENTYNINE PALMS OVER THE WEEKEND

At least seven homes were burglarized in Twentynine Palms over the weekend. According to Sheriff’s reports, a resident in the 7100 block of Mantonya Road, reported a burglary Friday morning. Burglaries were reported Saturday morning at John’s Place restaurant in the 72100 block of 29 Palms Highway, and in the 72400 block of Hatch Road, 74700 block of Palm Vista Drive, and 5800 block of Ocotillo Avenue. And finally, residents in the 74600 block of Sullivan Road and 5500 block of Baileya Avenue reported burglaries Sunday morning. Items stolen ranged from comic books, computer games, sleeping bags, cash, a pistol, and stolen breakers from John’s Place.
