“Space is the Place” is the theme of this month’s exhibition at Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree. The group exhibition showcases the artwork of 33 local artists who drew inspiration from mankind’s observation, fascination and admiration of the great beyond through the Morongo Basin’s phenomenal dark evening skies. Gallery 62 will have an artists’ reception Saturday, July 10, from 6-8 p.m. during the Second Saturday Art Crawl in Joshua Tree. The show will be on display through August 29. Gallery hours are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. Gallery 62 is located at 61607 Highway 62, behind JTAG.
