The Joshua Tree library will host an artist talk tomorrow with Hi-Desert artist Zara Kand. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has information on the artist and how you can participate…Artist Zara Kand paints images she finds mysterious, and views art as a means of processing the subconscious. She uses symbolism,, curous landscapes, familiar yet distant, and figures that are often as confused as we are. Kand will take part in an artist talk, presented at the Joshua Tree library Saturday, November 4, at 3 p.m. The artist talk is free to the public and light refreshments will be served. Kand’s art will be exhibited in the library through December.
