Jinny Yu’s project entitled Perpetual Guest examines relations of identity and belonging. Yu has researched the history of land use, ownership, and transfer in the region of the Algonquin nation and is currently a guest on the land of the Serrano, the Chemehuevi, the Cahuilla, and the Mojave Peoples. Her in-person Artist’s talk is at BoxoPROJECTS, 62732 Sullivan Road, Joshua Tree, on Saturday, January 29, at 3:00 p.m.
