The 20th Annual Highway 62 Open Studio Art Tours concludes this weekend. The third and final weekend of the event sees more than 150 high desert artists throw open the doors of their art studios to members of the public. Participating artists make work on all scales, from large murals painted on barns to delicate sculptures and jewelry made from the bones of desert critters. Featuring artists from every part of the Morongo Basin, from Morongo Valley to Wonder Valley, the Highway 62 Open Studio Art Tours runs today and tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event can be navigated via a catalog and map, available at local businesses and art galleries, or through an app and website Hwy62arttours.org
