ART SOUGHT BY TOMORROW FOR UPCOMING YUCCA VALLEY EARTH DAY EXHIBIT

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum is calling for original art for the 2019 Reduce, Reuse, Recycle exhibition on display March 14 through May 18 at the Museum in the Yucca Valley Community Center Complex. This year’s theme is “Think: Reconstruction.” It’s meant to make people rethink our throw-away society by sharing innovative and often surprising uses of repurposed and recycled materials. Individual, group, and children’s paintings, sculptures, photographs, mixed media and upcycled creations are welcome. Art intake is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through March 9 at the museum.
