An opening reception is set for the newest art exhibit at the Hi-Desert Medical Center. The exhibit features photography and paintings by local artists Sharon George, Shirley James, Patricia Knight, and Darlene Morris. The artists’ reception is set for 5 p.m. Friday, August 17, in the hospital’s main lobby. All artwork is for sale and a portion of the proceeds go to support student scholarships through the VoluntTeen program at Hi-Desert Medical Center.
