An art opening reception is planned at Gallery 62 entitled, “In Life” and you’re invited. During the Second Saturday Art Walk on August 12 the reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gallery 62, 61607 Twentynine Palms Hwy, Suite H in Joshua Tree. Curated by Donna Tomlinson the “In Life” collection focuses on works inspired by live model drawing & painting sessions, created within the Morongo Basin; features artists Esther Shaw, D. Tomlinson, Renata, Glenn Grubbs, Steffi Balcek-Sutton, Alane Levisohn, Ed Keesling and Signature artist James E. Thompson. Free audience participation will be offered at the opening, materials provided. Audience members may draw from live models and hang their work on the gallery wall. The show will be on display through August 27.
