The Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Yucca Valley Visual & Performing Arts Center will present its eighth arts exhibition, “Awakening 2019,” opening with a special gala and public reception tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition features 14 artists from Australia to the US and the Hi-Desert of California in various mediums. The “Awakening 2019” exhibition will run until January 26. The Center is located at 58325 Highway 62 in Yucca Valley. It is open Thursday through Sunday from 1 to 6 pm, holidays excluded, and there is no admission fee. All artworks in the exhibition are available for sale.
