A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say she threatened a man with a knife. According to Sheriff Sergeant Trevis Newport, the Sheriff’s Department received a call about 2 p.m. from a man in the 55600 block of Highway 62 who said Christina Cruz, 31, was threatening him with a knife. Deputies located Cruz in a vacant lot, with a knife in her pants, and carrying a metal chair. Christina Cruz was arrested for investigation of making terrorist threats. She was booked at West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
