A Twentynine Palms man was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a controlled substance and weapons as part of the county’s Operation: Consequences.
On September 20, investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division served a search warrant in the 6300 block of Palm View Ave in Twentynine Palms. It was there that deputies reported that they found Matthew Noble, a 39 year-old resident of Twentynine Palms in possession of controlled substances in an amount considered to be for sales purposes, along with weapons.
Operation: Consequences is the county Sheriff’s Office’s focus on conducting targeted crime suppression operations and parole and probation checks, in the High Desert and the Sheriff’s jurisdiction surrounding the city of San Bernardino. The operation will include personnel from the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, and patrol stations, as well as California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Probation, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
Matthew Noble was arrested and charged numerous charges related to possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of weapons, with enhancements related to being a convicted felon. He has pled not guilty to all charges, and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on October 5.
