A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Thursday, accused of trying to kill two people last week. On Tuesday, August 1, deputies were called to the 55300 block of Santa Fe Trail when a woman said Ronnie Zink, 21, came to their home about 6:30 p.m. and stabbed Desiree Ramirez, 37, in her hand, arm, chest, and below her chin, and stabbed Melvin Porter, 46, in his arm. Both victims were treated at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. About 5:30 p.m. yesterday, deputies went to the 7000 block of Cholla Avenue where they found Zink and arrested her for attempted murder.
