Sketchy details on an arrest for attempted murder in Landers yesterday. According to a Sheriff’s report, Coral Schilling, 62, of the 4200 block of Youngs Freeway, called 911 at 11:35 a.m. to report that her husband, David, was threatening to have a shoot-out with police. After an investigation, Coral Schilling was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after deputies discovered a bullet hole in the wall of her husband’s bedroom. Schilling was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $1 million.
