An argument over a woman ended in an arrest Tuesday for a Yucca Valley man. Deputies were called to the 7600 block of Bannock Trail in Yucca Valley about 11:20 p.m. for an argument that turned physical. The victim said that he and Christian Waterman, 27, began arguing about an old girlfriend when Waterman hit him in the arm with a pipe, and also broke his car’s window. Waterman had fled the scene by the time deputies arrived, but he was located in the 58200 block of San Marino Drive about two hours later. Christian Waterman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon causing injury, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
