Earlier this month, the 29 Palms Visitor Center opened their latest show, featuring artwork inspired by winter in the desert. Reporter Jef Harmatz has the show details.
The 29 Palms Visitor Center’s new show called “Apricity: The Warmth of the Sun in the Winter” features paintings, photography, mixed media, and three-dimensional artwork inspired by how the colder seasons affect and change the Mojave Desert. The show will remain on display until March and can be viewed during regular gallery hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. The gallery is located at 73484 29 Palms Highway on the corner of Desert Queen Ave in Twentynine Palms.
