Applications now open for Yucca Valley Military Banner Recognition Program

The Town of Yucca Valley has opened applications for its Military Banner Recognition Program. Recently passed by the Town Council, the program was designed to honor active-duty service members, veterans, and fallen service members from recent military conflicts. The custom banners will be displayed throughout the Town for one year, after which they will be returned to their respective sponsors. Banners will include the honoree’s name, photograph, and branch of service.

To qualify, honorees must be Yucca Valley residents or an immediate family member of Yucca Valley residents. The banners will be designated on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to active-duty service members. The cost to sponsor a banner is $50.
