The 29 Palms Art Gallery is now accepting applications for vendors for its second annual spring art and craft fair, set for March 20 and 21 from 9 to 4. The event is open to all artists and high-end crafters. Jurors are looking for a variety of artwork that may appeal to casual shoppers and art collectors. Space is limited to 30 vendors. The application fee is $10. Applications must include three images and a short artist bio. Applications will be accepted through February 1.

The second annual Spring Art and Craft Faire will be held on Saturday, March 20, which is actually the first day of spring. The event is open to all artists and high-end crafters. The jurors are looking for variety of artwork that may appeal to casual shoppers and art collectors. Space is limited to 30 vendors.

In 2021, tents will be spread out all around the gallery building to allow more space between tents. Shoppers will be guided on a one-way path around the building. Masks will be required. To make the event more family friendly, there will be a craft table for kids. Anna Stump is the coordinator for the craft table. A naturalist will visit with her personal collection of desert reptiles. There is also a plein air paint-out and auction planned, and Mark Spangenberg is coordinator. Contact Kathy Miller if you’d like to participate in the plein air. You can paint on Friday, and still be at your booth on Saturday.

Fees are the same as last year. Applications accepted through February 1. The details are in the application link here:

You will need to upload three images, a short bio, and don’t forget to follow the link to pay the $10 application fee. If you would like to apply in-person, you may do so in the gallery gift shop, open Thursday – Sunday, 11-3.

Please know that IF the event must cancel due to state or county mandates, your fees will be refunded. With the planned layout and being outside, we feel confident in our abilities to control any crowds. Monitors will be on site to ensure a compliant event.
