The Desert Theatre League, a non-profit public benefit corporation founded in 1987 with the mission of supporting and cultivating theatre in the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin, is still accepting applicants for their 2022 Scholarship Awards. Up to two $1,000 scholarships are offered to talented and worthy residents of the Coachella Valley or High Desert communities annually. The scholarship must be used for expenses incurred in the pursuit of performing arts-related education and proficiency such as acting classes or dance instruction. All individuals, of any age, are encouraged to apply. For details on application requirements and deadlines, go to deserttheatreleague.org. All applications must be delivered by March 15, 2022 to be considered.
