Applications are now being accepted for two local commissions serving as advisory bodies to the Yucca Valley Town Council: the Parks, Rec, and Cultural Commission, and the newly formed Revenue Measure Oversight Commission. The seven-member of the Revenue Commission will serve in an advisory capacity to the town council on the use of funds generated by tax Measures Y and Z. Those interested in serving on either commission should fill out an application found on the town’s website, yucca-valley.org, along with a cover letter describing why they want to serve.
