Heads up to any business, club, organization or individual looking to host youth art programs in Twentynine Palms – grant money is available. The Public Arts Advisory Committee (PAAC) is now accepting applications for its Youth and the Arts program grants, which vary from $100 to $1000, depending the program size and number of applicants.
The grants are designed to encourage creative programs that encourage youth participation in the arts. Due to COVID-19, applicants may propose virtual programs as well as in-person. The application requires a brief written proposal describing the proposed program.
The application deadline is Monday, April 12, and should be emailed to the PAAC’s Outreach Liaison, Vickie Waite, [email protected]. Grant awards will be announced the first week of May.
Guidelines for the grant application can be found on the city’s website, 29palms.org, or at the link
