Applications are being accepted for Joshua Tree national Park research Grants. Managing editor Tami Roleff tells you how to apply…
Graduate students interested in doing research on some aspect of the natural or cultural resources of Joshua Tree National Park are invited to apply for the Robert Lee Graduate Student Research Grant. The grant provides graduate students an opportunity to demonstrate how their research can apply to land management issues and educate park visitors as well as increasing knowledge and understanding of the park. Multiple grants of up to $4,000 will be provided through the Joshua Tree National Park Association and the Lee Family Foundation to help students with expenses such as data analysis, lodging, transportation, field supplies, and research equipment. The application deadline is October 10 and awards will be announced October 14. To learn more about the Robert Lee Grant program, go to a link in this story at Z1077fm.com.
