APPLE VALLEY MAN ARRESTED AFTER ROAD RAGE INCIDENT IN YUCCA VALLEY

In an apparent road rage incident, an Apple Valley man was arrested Wednesday evening in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to Old Woman Springs Road near New Horizon Road in Yucca Valley shortly before 5:00 P.M. where two men were fighting on the side of the road and traffic was stopped. The report states that a road rage incident led to Damien Garcia, 24, throwing rocks from the side of the road at a moving vehicle which caused the victim to inhale glass particles. The victim’s two-year-old son also sustained a cut to his leg from the broken glass. Damien Garcia was arrested on suspicion of assault, as well as child abuse and was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $100,000.
